General courses

During the first year, the PhD students will follow six institutional courses on the fundamental subjects of multidisciplinary programme. Each course will last about twenty hours of lectures.  

First term

• History of local and regional orders
• Research methodologies
• State forms and governmental forms

Second term

• Organizational models and planning processes
• Political systems and public policies
• Public economics and fiscal federalism

A series of meetings related to the methodology for each disciplinar approach and the inter-disciplinary research issues will be added to these six courses.
